2 Days Marrakech To Fes Camel Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Merzouga Desert Camp
Your 2 days Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga desert tour will start with pick up from your Marrakech hotel at 8 AM in a modern air-conditioned 4WD/Minibus, we travel over the Atlas Mountains range and descend into the Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive kasbah with buildings made of adobe that has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Then, we continue our road through the African Hollywood & the grand door of the Sahara; Ouarzazate, to see the Taourirt kasbah.
The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove a beautiful place to contemplate countless palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area, we’ll stop for lunch. Then pass by Dades & Todra valleys, Touroug, and Jorf to Merzouga where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the high sand dunes of Morocco’s Sahara Desert. Stay in a riad and ride a camel as the sunset across the sand dunes to reach our Erg Chebbi desert camp, where a delicious dinner with a cup of mint tea will be waiting for you with drums music in the middle of the Sahara desert, overnight under a nomad tent.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Fes
Waking up early is a must-do to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you’ve seen at the top of a dune close to the camp, then we return to Merzouga on the camels and after breakfast & shower, from here we’ll start our last day to Fez through the Tafilalet palm grove, you’ll see thousands of palm trees along the 20km of road. Here we will make stops to enjoy magnificent views of the Ziz valley gorges and the town of Aoufous, continue to Midelt for lunch, and rest for a while. Later, we continue our way through the Cedarwoods where we’ll see the wild monkeys, we’ll stop at Ifrane the little Switzerland of Morocco. Late afternoon arrival to Fes, drop you off at your accommodation and ends of our Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour 2 Days.

Amazing 2 days tour Marrakech to Fes
We did the 2 days from Marrakech to Fez with Moha. From the moment we were picked up at our riad to the moment we were dropped off in Fez, the trip was spectacular. Moha was a pleasure to travel with. He was easy to speak with, explained much, was easygoing, knowledgeable and we felt safe with him the entire time. He made our trip perfect. The only thing we regret was not planning a longer itinerary. Although the trip is long, he made plenty of stops along the way to break it up. We opted for the luxe trip and wow! we were not disappointed. The camp in the desert was fantastic and comfortable. I am already dreaming of my next trip to Morocco. But next time we will plan a longer tour.
Great 2-day Marrakech Tour
I did the two day tour from Marrakech to Fez with my 2 friends and we were in a beautiful, private car with an amazing tour guide Said. He was so accommodating, and kind and was the best DJ. I highly recommend this tour since he took us to the best lunch spots and rose and spice shops, we also got henna in a little village!
