Our private 4-day Morocco tour from Tangier starts when meeting you at Tangier seaport. Settle in as you drive towards Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains enjoying magnificent views of the mountains, until you reach the Blue Pearl city. Stroll through its enchanting alleys, explore the whitewashed walls, and capture the beauty of its blue doors and windows. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the grand square called “Plaza Uta El Hamam”, you will continue toward Fes to rest and prepare for the trip to the Sahara desert.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to the Merzouga Sahara Desert via the magical Middle Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. You will visit Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” then proceed to the Azrou’s cedar forest, where you can see the monkeys and feed them.
Continue for a lovely lunch in Midelt before traveling through the scenic Ziz Valley and the winding Tizi Ntalghamt Pass. As you approach the desert, the scenery transforms—endless golden dunes welcome you upon arrival in Merzouga. Here, you’ll prepare for an unforgettable camel ride into the heart of the dunes, which lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the breathtaking sunset and sandboarding.
After dinner, enjoy traditional Berber drum music under the stars before spending the night in a private tent. (Your tent is equipped with comfortable beds, plenty of sheets to keep you warm during the nights, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.)
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Return to Merzouga village, and prepare for the new journey.
You will leave the desert behind and head towards Rissani to visit its busy weekly market. Continuing the drive pass by several Berber villages, including Touroug and Tinjdad, before arriving in Tinghir, home to the stunning Todra Gorge. Take a short walk to explore this magnificent canyon, refresh yourself by the river, and admire the towering red cliffs that make this spot a favorite among rock climbers.
Later, you will continue toward the Dades Valley, making a stop to admire the fascinating Monkey Fingers Rock, a unique rock formation sculpted by nature, before heading to your comfortable hotel in Dades Gorge for the night at a comfortable hotel.
After breakfast, set off toward the vibrant town of Kalaat Megouna, where you’ll visit the famous rose cooperatives, that produce rose water before continuing along the road of a thousand Kasbahs. In Skoura, admire the beautifully preserved kasbah of Amredil before reaching Ouarzazate—the Hollywood of Africa. Visit the renowned Atlas Studios, where countless movies were filmed.
The adventure continues to Ait Ben Haddou for a guided tour to visit the local Kasbah (declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1986). Then, prepare for a scenic drive over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, where the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains surround you at every turn. By evening, you’ll arrive in Marrakech. marking the end of your 4-day tour Tangier to Marrakech.
