3 DAY TRIP FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA REVIEWS
Unforgettable 3-Day Desert Tour
We booked a 3-day desert tour with Viajes Morocco Tours from Marrakech to Merzouga, and it was a dream come true. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Moroccan history and culture, and the journey through the Atlas Mountains was breathtaking. The highlight was definitely the night in the desert under the stars. Everything was well organized, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
3 days desert tour from Marrakech
We did the 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with Hassan.
1. Route: it is very complete. Although we booked the tour for the desert trip, we were surprised by the rest of the things we discovered. The car is a comfortable 4×4 and we could stop for a break/WC whenever we wanted.
2. Guide: Hassan knows all places to stop (even the best hour to take photos) and he tries to avoid busy places that don’t worth it. We think that going with him is the best way to take profit of the trip. He tooked us to small places to have lunch that were really tasty and he explained us a lot of things about Moroccan culture and traditions.
We definitely recommend this tour, it is worth the price, and Hassan is the perfect guide.

3 day desert excursion starting from Marrakech and going to the Sahara desert
A pleasant 3-day tour from Marrakech. From legendary Kasbahs to landscape views and Sahara, everything was surreal and worthwhile. The whole journey consists of long drives and several stops so we’re able to take a break from a long drives – thank you very much to our driver Mohamed! Some of us lacked cash on the way so he compromises on taking stops therefore the whole trip was very convenient and according to our favour. The pick up from each of our hotel and campsite were on time that we managed to arrive to Sahara desert much earlier than the time that we had to take a camel ride to see the sunset and we also got back to Marrakech much earlier than we expected. Every scenery was beautiful and very well preserved (like you see in the pictures).
Small group tour from Marrakech to Merzouga and back
We went on the classic 3 day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga and back. I did a lot of research before and there are so many offers out there for this and similar tours, but we are so glad to have booked this experience with Viajes Morocco. They offer shared group tours with small group sizes and in my opinion, that is a big game changer. The small group size was great and made it feel almost like a private tour (there was only one other couple with us). Everything was organized so well and went really smooth, we were in great hands and did not have to worry about a single thing! The Hotel we stayed in on the first night was so lovely and turned out to be an unexpected treat on this trip. Among the many highlights of the tour in terms of landscapes and sights, another highlight was our guide, Moha! He is such a kind and caring man we felt very well taken care of, and wherever we went along the way, he was greeted with a smile! Moha is a very good driver, we were so relaxed we often fell asleep during the car ride, also he was so well attuned to the needs of the group, coffee and bathroom breaks always came at just the right time!
