Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Merzouga Desert
Your 2 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga will start from your riad/hotel in Marrakech traveling over the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m), with far-reaching views across the mountains, before arriving at the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou to visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1986), several Hollywood epics like The Mummy, Gladiator…etc have been filmed. After the visit, our trip continues to the Sahara desert through the Dades & Todra valleys, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud to reach the stunning dunes of Merzouga, where your camels will be waiting for you.
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, get ready for a camel trek over the Erg Chebbi desert and watch a spectacular desert sunset before driving your camel back to your Sahara desert camp for a delicious Moroccan dinner with drums entertainment under the stars and sleep in nomadic tents.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Draa Valley – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
An early morning wake-up is recommended to assist sunrise from the top of Chebbi sand dunes. Then you will camel trek to the hotel where you will take a shower and a delicious Berber breakfast. Depart to Marrakech through the Berber villages of the Atlas mountains ( Tinghir, Todra Gorges, Kelaat Mgouna), stopping along the way for photos and admire the views before arriving at Marrakech drop off you at your accommodation and our Marrakech to Merzouga tour 2 days end.

Wonderful 2 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga
Highlight of our 2024 Marrakech To Merzouga desert tour!!! The driver and all the local guides were great and knowledgeable. Plenty of stops along the way. The food was pretty good and the hotels we stayed were nice and clean. The camel ride was a once in a lifetime experience as well as the views of the Erg Chebbi dunes. The tent surprisingly had running water but no AC, which is expected. Overall, a must visit if you’re in the area!
One of the most amazing trips I have ever had
I will never regret choosing the 2 days 1 night tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert, it was really amusing, we had a lot of fun and we learned a lot of things about these places, and the most thing I loved is the night at the heart of the desert it’s unforgettable. I would like to thank Omar a lot for his kindness and hospitality all along this trip, we felt really secure with him and he’s a really nice person.
