HIGHLIGHTS OF 4 DAYS MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR
Itinerary: Desert Trip Marrakech 4 Days
Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet Kabah – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
We’ll pick you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech to start our 4 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga desert by A/C vehicle.
At the first stop, we’ll enjoy the beauty of the Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’Tichka Pass (the pass rises to 2260 meters above sea level)
At the next stop, we’ll admire majestic landscapes in different colors.
Then we proceed to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah one of the most spectacular Ksars in the Land, and Oscar Film Studios. After lunch (At leisure ) we will head to Dades via palm grove of Skoura, Kelaat Magouna (famous for its roses), and Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the first night.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga (Desert Camp)
Morning time, eat your awesome Moroccan breakfast, before hitting the road again and heading to Merzouga Dunes via Imider and Tinghir Oasis stopping along the way for pictures and admiring panoramic views. Arrive at Todra Gorges to enjoy its amazing Canyons views while hiking on foot. After Todra, we continue our desert trip through many Berber towns with lunch at one of the restaurants, before we carry on to Merzouga, where the camels are waiting for us.
From here you will take a camel caravan for about 1 hour 30 min to get to your Nomadic desert camp, and the luggage will be transported to the camp in a 4×4 car. You will be amazed by the beautiful sunset.
Enjoy dinner under the stars while entertained by local nomad hosts playing drums.
Overnight at your Sahara desert camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Alnif – Agdez – Ouarzazate
It’s recommended to wake up early and climb the sand dunes to watch the beautiful sunrise. You’ll have breakfast and shower at camp then ride camels or 4WD back, meet your driver to continue our best Merzouga desert tour. Driving to Ouarzazate via Rissani, where we’ll stop to visit its Weekly traditional Souks, afterward, we’ll continue to the main Berber village of Tazzarine and N’Kob then to Draa Valley with its stately palms. In the afternoon arrive at Ouarzazate and check into Riad or Kasbah.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Telouet -Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A place that attracted many filmmakers. They shot many movies there such as ” The Mummy”, “Gladiator” and “Babel”, …
After lunch at leisure in the kasbah, we drive to Marrakech crossing Tizi Ntichka 2260m high pass and the high Atlas Mountains. Arrive in the evening.

Best Morocco Desert Tour!
We booked the trip with Moha, who was very responsive to all my questions. We had a great experience with our driver and guide, Hassan. Hassan was always punctual. He was very knowledgeable, cheerful, and always checking that we were comfortable during the trip. He also knows all the best photo spots and took great photos of us. The sand dunes in the Sahara Desert were the highlight of the trip. Watching the sunset over the dunes was a beautiful experience. We stayed at the Berber Camp which had all the hotel comforts. More glamping than camping. We’d highly recommend Hassan and Viajes Morocco.
Exceptional 4 Day Marrakech desert tour
The tour was absolutely amazing and Moha was the best guide we have ever had. Our every need was catered to. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough it was perfect, the timings, accomodation and transport were all perfect. Moha was very kind and ensured we were comfortable the entire time and we would love to come back again!
4 days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert tour
We had a great time with Hassan for 4 day tour instead of 3 from Marrakech to Merzouga desert. It is quite a lot of drive and stops, Hassan is an experienced trustful guide and excellent driver, especially during the mountain route he made sure we were comfortable, relaxed, and had a good time. The organizer is quick to respond and the trip is organized very well, we definitely highly recommend it!
